The mission of Skyline Church is to exist outside of our four walls. We believe that the church was never intended to simply gather together one day a week for worship. We gather to be refreshed and recharged so that we may be more effective in fulfilling the mission God has given us. That mission is to take the Gospel to the world. As Acts 1:8 challenged the early church to be God’s witnesses to Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and into the uttermost parts of the world, we also believe that same call is given to us. We are committed to reaching our local community, our nation and the world with the love of Christ.

God has not simply called us to make an impact locally or nationally, but globally as well. Through random acts of kindness, local mission projects, and community events we spread the love of Christ to the cities and towns in our area.

We believe our call is to literally be His hands and feet to the world. That call requires action that exists outside of the walls in which we meet each week. That call is to love, to serve, and to share His heart with everyone we can.

Church planting is the single most effective way to reach the unreached in our culture. We are committed to raising up churches all throughout the United States.

Skyline Church has been called to bring the gospel of Jesus to people that desperately need His love. We are working on amazing projects to better communities in other countries.

With the disciples who first received it, we wish to obey Christ’s commission to evangelize the world (Matthew 28). Accordingly, we work in our church body to plant a keen awareness of the need for missions work in foreign countries. Annual missions trips allow our members to lend support to missionaries and test their own personal call to the mission field. Additionally, when visiting the US, missionaries regularly come to Skyline to rest, share stories, and be spiritually recharged.
