Healthy Liv-ING

Join Amy for an 8-week plan of walking and healthy eating. You will discuss the 5 Essentials of the Daniel Plan—nothing in depth, no diets, no worries! This is summer, but healthy!

Skyline Bethalto is, once again, partnering with a local outreach called TWIGS to provide lunches to Bethalto-area school-age children who were on the free or reduced lunch plans during the school year. This is a very easy way to get involved with serving our community—handing out lunches to those in need!

Men’s Grill-ING

Blitz Ball-ING

Join this co-ed group for a little friendly competition while playing an amped up version of wiffle ball. Men, women, and high school-aged kids are welcome to play!

Hair Styl-ING

Do you ever wish you knew how to do the newly trending hair style? Have you always wanted to learn how to braid? Or is there something else you’d love to learn about doing your hair? You are in luck! Meggie, a fantastic hair stylist, has volunteered to teach us all about beachy waves, braiding, curling wands, etc. Sign up today, have great hair tomorrow!

Cool off this summer with some pool fun! This is a family-friendly group and is open to all ages. The host home will rotate, so be sure to sign up for all the details!

Exploring of points of interest in the St Louis and Metro East region. Meet up on Saturday mornings at an advertised starting point and caravan/car-pool to the site(s) of interest. Finish by early afternoon so your evening plans are not thwarted. A published list of destinations and routes will be identified along with admission pricing (when applicable), and you can attend whichever outings appeal to you. Most events involve a restaurant (or picnic) meal.  Members and guests from O’Fallon and Bethalto campuses are welcome.

  • RSVP by Thursday prior to each Saturday morning event

Food – the final frontier. Pot luck opportunity to enjoy a meal and good social time with your church mates and friends, in a comfortable setting. On some nights there will be visits and car-pooling to area parks to partake of “Food Truck Fridays”. Occasionally we will be prepping and serving food at a Community Center in Washington Park. A compelling topic of discussion will be offered, to weigh in with your personal takes and experience different viewpoints. Invite your unchurched friends to join and participate.
